Calling all starving graduates...

Are you fresh out of University and still wet behind the ears? Are you hungry for the web and looking for the opportunity to hone your skills, working with some great clients in the real-world environment?

At Flame Digital Designers we have a passion for the creative industry and for business. And guess what? We’re looking for a bright intern who shares our passion. Interested? You should be. Not everybody in Scotland can say they work as part of an award winning, gold certified 'Investors in People' group of companies.

Candidate

The successful candidate will be one who shows a true passion for design and a flare for seeing a job from concept through to completion with both enthusiasm and energy! You’ll have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work as part of a fast paced team.

Skills

We wouldn’t be doing our job right if we didn’t have a few candidate specifications. So future intern are you ready with a pen? Been practising ticking the boxes?

Ideally you’ll be of graduate calibre with skills/experience in the following areas;

• Excellent Design Skills in Web and Print
• XHTML
• CSS
• Creative Suite Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc)

Desirable but not essential;

• Experience with producing printed products, brochures and flyers etc.
• Fairly good tea making abilities

Project Managers

We want high quality professionals who know how to deliver well-planned and well-run projects. We're after commercially focused professionals who know that client contact is as important as a colourful gantt chart.

Web Designers

Okay you may have a print background, but you'll also have a sophisticated understanding of navigation, the pros and cons of plug-ins and the ability to work constructively with the tekkies. Most importantly you must appreciate deadlines and meeting them.

Web Builders and Database Developers

Our main technologies are MySQL/PHP and MS SQL/ASP/.NET. Some knowledge of Win 2000/Linux server side would be helpful. But that's just the technologies-what we're really after are people; friendly, upbeat professionals who have a "can do" attitude and who can operate as part of a network.

Web Marketeers

You know who you are. That special breed who like nothing more than maxing out value for money on PPC campaigns, tracking the search algorithms or delivering value from affiliate programs or portal marketing.
